Madonna's Hard Candy CD Scores #1 Rank & Queen Of Rock Makes Waves In Hair Biz
Madonna's latest CD, Hard Candy, has climbed to #1 since its release.
Along with the CD's buzz is talk about her latest Madonna-esque hairstyle. Madonna's tresses have changed constantly throughout her career, which has always generated media talk.
Her current wave infused hairstyle is no different.
In preparation for her new Hard Candy publicity tour, Madonna hooked up with celebrity hair guru, Garren, for a recent Vanity Fair cover shoot.
Garren and Madonna collaborated on a sizzling new hairstyle for the Hard Candy Queen which consisted of rows of deep, luscious butter blonde waves cascading from a fierce center part.
With her naturally wavy hair, Madonna is the perfect posture child for showcasing the latest hair texture trends.
To re-create Madonna's Vanity Fair sensual waves complete the following steps:
1. Separate hair into individual 2" - 2 1/2" sections.
2. Spritz each section with a styling tonic.
3. Coil hair around fingers.
4. Clip into place against the scalp.
5. Around hairline, set waves into semi-skip waves".
6. Dry hair completely with a diffuser attachment to prevent overblowing hair.
7. Remove clips when coiled sections are completely cool.
8. Rake through newly formed waves with fingers.
9. Touch up the ends of the waves with a curling iron for a clean, crisp finish.
Note: Madonna's naturally wavy texture make creation of the Vanity Fair style a snap. If your hair is naturally straight, set in either hot rollers or create the waves with self-adhesive curlers on a wet set and sit under a hood dryer. If your hair is naturally curly, soften the curls into waves with a long finger diffuser.
