Emile Hirsch aka Emile Davenport Hirsh aka Hirschy is a hottie. He's been generating lots of buzz as the lead character - Speed Racer - in the movie Speed Racer. Now he has an action figure - natch. What does this guy with great hair have to say about his new toy?
"I look like Dennis Quaid circa 1995, which is a goog thing. That was an upgrade for me." as quoted in Star Magazine - May 26, 2008. Emile is very serious about his acting and was ranked #17 on Entertainment Weekly;s 30 Under 30 actors list for 2008. He first won fan notice as the impressionable young man in The Girl Next Store co-starring Elisha Cuthbert. Although Emile has "great hair" he is often required, like the majority of actors and actresses, to completely alter his appearance for whatever role he is playing. In Lords of Dogtown he had to shave his head to completely change his look for the character he played. Emile lost 40 pounds for his role as adventurer Christopher McCandless in Sean Penn's cricitally acclaimed adventure-drama Into the Wild which was released in September of 2007. His acting won him a Screen Actors Guild nomination. Hirsch is currently filming Gus Van Sant's upcoming Harvey Milk bio "Milk". Hirsch plays gay rights activist Cleve Jones.
